The Realm's Delight was Rhaenyra's name given to her by the lords and smallfolk when she was a child. The guy Daemon saw in the visions was the 3-eyed raven. Bloodraven who we saw mentoring Bran. He was a Targaryen bastard born after a few decades after the Dance of Dragons. The blue dragon we saw with the Hightower army is Tessarion which is Daeron Targaryen's dragon. Daemon also saw the death of the dragons as well as Dany. The progression of your daughter from being a watcher to now leading the discussions and the note keeping. Your niece too also keeping notes. Love it.

The season was fantastic, and this episode was superb. What a "finale"! Your dad might be right, the battle above the God's Eye could happen at the end of season 3, but I think it might not take place until the middle of season 4. The beginning of season 3 might give us the Battle of the Gullet with the Battle of Tumbletown at the end. I'm glad you didn't riot. I'll see you next season.

Until now, Jace had an answer to whoever called him a bastard, the fact that he is a dragon lord. Surely a lowborn bastard could not be a dragon rider. Hugh's mother is Princess Saera Targaryen - a daughter of King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne. She was the sister of both Viserys and Daemon's parents (Prince Baelon and Princess Alyssa) and Rhaenys' father (Prince Aemon). Jaehaerys and Alysanne had 13 children. All of them and Alysanne died in Jaehaerys' lifetime. The important ones are Prince Aemon (Rhaenys' father), Prince Baelon and Princess Alyssa (Viserys and Daemon's parents. Baelon is also Ulf's father), Princess Daella (Aemma Arryn's - Rhaenyra's mother, mother) and Princess Saera Targaryen (Hugh's mother). Hugh is still a bastard as Saera never married. She was very promiscuous and constantly slept around so Jaehaerys disowned her. She ran away to the Free Cities, set up her own brothel and became really successful. She's dead this point too though. Vermithor used to be Jaehaerys' dragon. Ironic the grandchild from the daughter he disowned was the one to claim his dragon. Silverwing used to be Queen Alysanne's dragon. She's a very docile and friendly dragon which is why she didn’t get pissed about the eggs. All the dragons have different personalities - like people.

Jace's concern is legit. What he fears will exactly happen. Jace is a bastard, and he knows that. Now 2 other bastards have bigger dragons, and both will betray Rhaenyra. Feel bad for Jace. Rhaenyra is being played by Mycelia and destroying future of her children.

I feel like so many people watching the scene between Jace and Rhaenyra miss the point Jace was trying to make and then hate on him. Jace has been harassed by the greens and their supporters through his whole childhood because of his parentage. Having a dragon his own was a reminder of his identity, that he actually is a legitimate Targaryen. But if any bastard could claim a dragon, what does that make him? Hes also has been saying through out this whole season how insecure he is about his legitimaty and how he wants to fight for it so he is seen worthy for the throne, so it's no surprise that he finally brought it up. What if those new riders just decide to switch up on them and want to have their own claim to the throne? What if Rhaenyra dies, Jace is her heir, will those men in her council and the rest of the realm that are loyal to Rhaenyra wanna fight for him? Those bastards look more Targaryen than Jace and who is to say that the realm won't change their loyalty because of that. Let's not forget the fact that they now got dragons that are way larger than Jace's own, he would have no chance against them

You’re not seeing the validity of Jace’s argument. He’s completely right in his concern. People would much rather rally behind someone with silver hair and a large dragon than someone with brown hair and a small dragon. After Viserys died, the Realm was split over who should succeed him, even though he made his own wishes clear. Jace is an obvious bastard. He’s not even a legitimized bastard, at that (to be legitimized, they have to acknowledge him being a bastard). Rhaenyra’s only really thinking about the present. Even if she prevails now, another war of succession may be fought after her death, so it really a “solution”?

I'm so glad y'all release a little later in the week. I love this episode. Alys did Daemon a solid, Rhaenyra door dashing food to KL, Aegon and Larys teaming up, Rhaenyra and Mysaria "teaming up" and Seasmoke claiming Addam. I've seen people complaining about this episode being slow and I don't understand that. It's a solid episode.

They did use the Rains of Castermere music. Though House Castermere is very much alive here.

The Tullys at Riverrun are the rulers of the trident but Harrenhal is a seat that many Lords want because of it's size and prestige. The holder of Harrenhal also has large tracts of land and get taxes from the large number of smallfolk in the vicinity. The show writers probably don't discuss such details as it would be considered tedious, and take up precious dialogue space, but by not including those details, it leaves people confused as to why anyone would want the castle.

aegon was wearing conqueror's valarian steel armor ( as mentioned in last episode ) so he is safe from fire except for face and hurt from fall (which was not fast since sunfyre was trying to fly as it fell) . turning around would have been like running away from battle and betraying castle defenders. one doesn't do that even in real world battlefield even as ordinary soldier , unless one is ok with being a craven.

Rhaenys died with her beloved Meyleys. A dragon she claimed after the death of Alyssa the mother of Viserys and Daemon. She died by Vhagar the dragon her beloved Laena claimed and loved 😢

Sorry I'm late too your reaction. I am three episodes in to this season and thought to myself, "shouldn't Mark and the gang have reactions to these yet?" I went and checked and here we are. You tube never notified. I thought the season started kinda slow with this one. Not quite as impactful as it could have been. Just like Anna, I didn't get why bring a dog with them on an assassination mission. Best explanation seems to be so Cheese can kick it and demo what a turd he really is. It felt too contrived. IDK what they're doing with Helena, but she's seriously giving me "post Three Eyed Raven" Bran vibes. On to the next reaction! 👍

The showrunner confirmed in last week's Inside The Episode that it was indeed Errik that won the fight and fell on his sword. HBO always hold off revealing the episode title for a few hours after it airs as to not spoil viewers/book readers.😊
